Lamant
Yet Rise
Listen, to the pouring rain Listen, to the water Listen, as it weeps again Running through the slaughter Ended seems the good and fair Ended seems all laughter Ended all, now to despair What now could come after? Is there more to life than this? Is there something better? Is there any peace or bliss? Or is life a fetter? Not all tears are always bad, Not all battles hopeless, Not all of this life is sad, Your life is not worthless. There is more to life than this, There is something stronger, There is more than Circe's kiss, And it shall last longer. More than all Death’s despair, More than Evil’s clamor, More than every trap and snare, Is the Good Lord’s banner. His the light that lights the world, His the might and power, His the awesome love unfurled, No thing can devour! Raise again your head and sword, Don again your armor, Rest again upon the Lord, Naught but he to honor!
