These United Nations of America and the Oceans is a widely spread republico-feudal empire. Consisting of primarily 2 continents, North America and Australia, and two major island groups, the British Isles and Japan. It is an economically diverse polity with several universally accepted currencies, with barter, specie, and crypo also widely used, coinage rights are highly valued and exist on several levels. Extensive farmland and cottage factories exist. Usury is prohibited and bankers are allowed to be lynched as needed.
At its lowest level, the polity consists of counties(state), Abbies(church), wards(city), grounds("nature preserves", "tribal ground" and nomads), and territories. These in turn are organized in states, cities, and city-states with a strong separation of influence between rural and urban laws. Over these are regions, think Dixie, New England, and so on. Then a very, limited federal government roughly in the style of the HRE. Mexico, Central America, and the Caribs. are all territories w/o statehood until pop. replacement.
A switz-style national militia is enacted for all citizens between the age of 12 and 60. All men at the age of 18 are required to serve 2 years in the national corps, where they get special combat training and construct and maintain infrastructure. A standing army is strictly prohibited. There is a standing Navy, Air Force, and Space Force. In the event of invasion the Corps and Millitas are called out.
Population control consists of exporting 3rd and 4th sons abroad and to territories with supplies after their two years in lieu of citizenship and women after them.
Immigration is prohibited. Niggers, jeets, etc. are prohibited, spics and such are limited to territories. Indigenous can keep their land, self govern, but lose benefits. All male Jews older than 12, non-virgins, and females older than 16 have been vladded. The boys are unsullied, the girls checked for genetic issues and put up for marriage. All illegal immigrants are vladded or deported to Haiti.
Power is split between the merchants, the people/militia, the military abroad, the Corps, the polities, and the church.
Counties & Grounds can govern themselves however they want within the state-equivalent have the right to leave and join another state-equiv. and have no property tax, no sales tax, they may have an 10% income tax at most, they may disallow people from moving in from cities, and must maintain an arms reserve for the countiefolk. Abbies are under the church. Wards might be subdivided in some way and have georgeist style property tax, they are more under the cities. Territories are Corps occupied and a exmigrant free for all. Regions are required to maintain a coast guard, if coastal, handle intra-state issues and so on. Fed just handles intra-region issues, territories, the sea, space, and the border. The internet may have something similar going on. It is markedly harder to move. But freedom of movement is a right.
The church runs on an Orthodox model with some theological differences tolerated and is permitted to possess 10% of all land at max. Ultimately the goal is Orthodoxy as it existed in the Eastern Roman Empire, w/ some aspects of the Catholic Church. Shinto and Kristian-Neo-Paganism are tolerated. Muslims are expelled. Mormons get a lighter version of the jewish treatment. Masons, satanists, scientologists, etc. get the jewish treatment. Atheists get taxed and are prohibited from government.
Merchants are merchants. The economic system and law are rebuilt and designed to prevent monolithic supra-powerful companies. Corporations do not have extra-human rights, are responsible to their employees ford style, and get taxed more. Small businesses are left alone. Patents are reworked. Banks are prohibited from loaning at interest, speculating, fractional reserves, and so on.
The Justice system is totally reworked. I don't know enough to say how. Perhaps Judges decide guiltiness and Jury determines penalty. Something else? There are ecclesiastical, military, county, city, state, region, and empire, levels of law. No UN level. No treaties.
Navy, airforce, and spaceforce are responsible for keeping the oceans, air, and space clear of threats. Beyond that, nada.
Corps are responsible for infrastructure, training, and territories. Also semi broken down in a feudal model.
Nation-states are nationstates. Think counties but moreso. Same for regions. Both of these may have coinage rights and some other things. Think Landed Knight-Earl-Duke-Emperor with Texas being the equivalent of Bohemia or whatever.
